The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love was so good. There's a great intensity in the romance between a woman who has died five times, but who just won't stay dead, and a reaper who takes on flesh to catch the one that keeps getting away - and gets caught up in the human emotions that come with the new packaging.

The reaper, now occupying the body of cop Santos, and the heroine, Roxanne, are both appealing as is her brother, Reece, who has also died (and resurrected) with Roxanne five times. The background story into why's of why dark forces are seeking to use the siblings and why the siblings have the special relationship with death is interesting and I like the way it unfolds. The way that story was split between Reece and Roxanne was very effective. There's a fair amount of discovery that happens in the thread following Reece after the siblings' most recent death which leaves the thread with Roxanne and Santos/reaper free to develop Santos' emerging humanity and to develop the relationship between the pair.

So, I really really liked The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love, and even though I can't really imagine where Quinn is going to take this series next I am looking forward to the next two books each starring one of Roxanne's other siblings - and cursing the fact that I have to wait until 2014 for the next one The Three Fates of Ryan Love.

I am a huge fan of Erin Quinn's Mist Of Ireland Series. So when I seen this book on I could not wait to start reading it.. I loved this book so much and could hardly put it down.. I seriously read this book in one day. I am looking forward to reading The Three Fates Of Ryan Love when it comes out.
To each his own but as far as my books go this is great if youlove romance you'll love this one
This book was fresh and exciting. I liked the main characters and really enjoyed following their story. I look forward to more by this author.
I'm a big fan of Erin Quinn, and this book did not disappoint! Not only is she a smooth and visual writer but she keeps you guessing throughout the story... Highly recommend!
I've always been a fan of EQ and was very happy to come across this series. I read this one and liked it so much that I then bought the next two.
The premise of The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love enticed me to buy it. The character Santos kept me reading it. I can’t tell you the details of why it came just a touch short of fully satisfying without spoiling. It is a worthwhile read and you may find the ending perfect.
I became fascinated with Erin Quinn after reading the Mists of Ireland series. She has a way of expertly melding past and present in a way that’s fascinating but not confusing. She does the same with her new series, which starts with The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love.

I fell in love with the hero in the first five pages! The book starts with a reaper attending the suicide of a cop, Santo Castillo. The misery and poignancy of Santo’s wish for death is palpable and heartbreaking. The reaper chooses to take Santo’s soul just prior to him shooting himself, and inhabits Santo’s still-living body. One might think this would make the reaper unlikable; instead, you see him grappling with Santo’s memories and emotions.

The reaper chooses this path because of Roxanne Love, who has cheated death three times before. For some reason, she can’t die. The reaper, now in Santo Castillo’s body, is determined to finish the job once and for all before he returns to the beyond. Instead, he ends up trying to save her as she’s attacked by twisted, demonic beasts - just as she dies for the fourth time.

I loved this book! It’s a completely fresh idea. Who would have thought a reaper of souls would make a fantastic hero? Santo is tough and tender and yummy. Roxanne is strong and vulnerable and sweetly sexy. Erin Quinn does a masterful job weaving in complex emotions, so when these two finally come together, it’s perfect. The book is funny, dark, poignant, suspenseful, and just plain hot! If you like paranormal romance, you will love this book!
